Tiwi

Tiwi is a coastal village south of Mombasa on Kenya's Indian Ocean coast, known for the fringing reef that lies offshore of its beach, accessed from the shore or by short boat trips out of the village. The dive site here sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, snapper, triggerfish, and fusiliers on the reef, along with cuttlefish, nudibranchs, and pipefish for those looking closer at the coral. Sea turtles, stingrays, and even barracuda have also been spotted around this stretch of coast.
