About this site
Kilima Steps sits along the coastline near Puerto Galera on the north coast of Mindoro Island in the Philippines, an area known for its network of small bays and dive sites accessed from Sabang and nearby settlements. The site takes its name from a series of stepped rock or reef formations along that stretch of coast, and it is laid out as a wall reaching a maximum depth of around 21 metres, rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported angelfish, batfish, frogfish, octopus, parrotfish, surgeonfish, triggerfish, and even thresher sharks along the wall here.
