About this site
Kinmemodoki Mura (キンメモドキ村) is a main mooring-buoy site at Tatsukushi in Tosashimizu, Kochi Prefecture, suitable from novice level, with the top of the reef at 12 m and a maximum depth of 20 m. As the name suggests, countless golden sweepers swarm at one spot, schools of small jacks are common in midwater and amberjack visit in summer. A small tunnel can be passed one diver at a time, and hammerheads and barracuda have appeared here in the past.
