About this site
Tsumajiro Beach (爪白ビーチ) is a shore-entry training site at Tatsukushi in Tosashimizu, Kochi Prefecture, suitable from novice level with a maximum depth of about 7 to 10 m. Nudibranchs are abundant in winter, and pelagics and spotted eagle rays visit in summer. There are Pavona coral colonies with many kinds of butterflyfish, and a juvenile giant frogfish once stayed here for three months. It is one of the beach sites available for self-guided diving.
