About this site
Koh Rang Pinnacles lies within the Koh Rang archipelago off Trat province in eastern Thailand, a rock pinnacle site typically reached by boat from Koh Chang or Koh Mak. It reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres and is rated an advanced dive, with divers noting strong and unpredictable currents around the formation. Barracuda, batfish, and whale sharks are regularly seen here, and divers have also reported eagle rays, grouper, pufferfish, and triggerfish on the rock. The site sits within a marine national park known for its granite formations scattered around the islands.
