About this site
Koh Yak Lek is a small island site off Koh Rang in the Trat archipelago of eastern Thailand, part of a cluster of granite islands within Mu Ko Chang National Park. The area is typically reached by boat from Koh Chang or Koh Mak, and dive operators in the region run day trips out to these outer islands. The reef here tops out around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it an easy stop on those outer-island itineraries. Divers have also reported barracuda and fusilier moving through the area.
