About this site
Koh Torinla is part of the Surin Islands group off the Andaman coast of Phang Nga province in southern Thailand, close to the Thailand-Myanmar maritime border. The Surin Islands are protected as a national park and are typically reached by boat from the mainland pier at Kuraburi. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Batfish are commonly seen here, and divers have also reported barracuda, bumphead parrotfish, fusiliers, snapper, and trevally moving through the reef.
