About this site
The Surin Islands National Marine Park sits in the Andaman Sea off Phangnga province in southern Thailand, close to the Thailand-Myanmar maritime border. The park is made up of a small group of islands surrounded by coral reef, reached by boat from the mainland pier at Kuraburi. It is one of the more remote marine parks on Thailand's Andaman coast, with limited access during the monsoon season. Diving here around the pinnacle sites is rated beginner, making it accessible to divers early in their diving.
