About this site
Plavnik is a small, largely uninhabited island in the Kvarner Gulf off the coast of Primorje-Gorski Kotar, lying between Krk and Cres in the northern Adriatic. Dive sites around the island are typically reached by boat from Krk or the nearby mainland coast, taking in the limestone shoreline and clear Adriatic waters characteristic of the Kvarner islands.
