Love Cave lies off Plavnik Island in the Kvarner Gulf, a small and largely undeveloped island of limestone coastline between Krk and Cres in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, northern Croatia. The site is a cave dive reaching a maximum depth of around 22 metres, rated technical, with a cave bottom throughout. Divers have noted the enclosed cave environment itself as a hazard here, consistent with the overhead conditions typical of this kind of dive.
