Kuda Giri

Kuda Giri is a small island in Lhaviyani Atoll in the northern Maldives, and the dive site associated with it is best known for a small wreck resting near the reef alongside the natural coral formations. It sits within an atoll system typical of the region, with channels and reef edges nearby that boats from local resorts use for day trips. Divers here have reported bluefin trevally, checkerboard wrasse, Clark's anemonefish, Meyer's butterflyfish, powder blue tang, tawny hermit crab, threadfin butterflyfish, and zigzag wrasse around the wreck and reef. The area is reached primarily by boats operating out of Lhaviyani Atoll resorts.
