About this site
Port-Vendres sits on the Mediterranean coast of the Pyrenees-Orientales, near the border with Spain, and is a longstanding harbor town used as a base for dives along this stretch of the Vermilion Coast. La Mauresque lies in the waters just off this coastline, within the rocky coves and headlands typical of the area around Port-Vendres and nearby Cap Béar. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated a beginner dive.
