About this site
Port-Vendres sits on the Mediterranean coast of the Pyrénées-Orientales, near the Spanish border in the Occitanie region of southern France, and Le Pythéas is one of the dive sites reached from its small harbor along the rocky Côte Vermeille. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported moray eels here.
