About this site
La Parguera dive site sits off La Altagracia in the eastern Dominican Republic, facing the Caribbean Sea. Note that this name is well known elsewhere for a coastal area on Puerto Rico's southwest coast with mangrove cays and a bioluminescent bay, but this particular listing is a reef site in the Dominican Republic rather than that Puerto Rican location. As a reef dive here, it reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner site.
