About this site
La Vaca is a well-known dive site around the Medes Islands, a small marine reserve archipelago off L'Estartit on the Costa Brava in Catalonia. The site is built around a rock formation with an underwater tunnel that divers can pass through, and it is rated a beginner dive with a maximum depth of around 12 metres. Divers have reported grouper here, in keeping with the reserve's reputation for fish life built up over decades of protection.
