About this site
This wreck lies off Bataan on the Philippine coast, at the mouth of Manila Bay, an area that saw heavy naval activity during World War II. The site is a Landing Ship Tank, a type of vessel used to land tanks and vehicles directly onto beaches, and it now rests on the bottom at a maximum depth of around 18 metres. It is rated an advanced dive, and divers exploring the wreck structure have reported barracuda and bull sharks around it.
