Les Bamboos lies just off Malapascua Island, a small island north of Cebu in the Visayas region of the Philippines, with sites in the area typically reached by short banca boat rides from the island's resorts. It sits over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 10 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it an easy option compared to the deeper offshore trips Malapascua is known for, such as Monad Shoal. Divers have reported clownfish, nudibranchs, octopus, pipefish, and seahorses here, along with occasional manta ray sightings.
