About this site
North Point sits off Malapascua Island, a small island north of Cebu in the Visayas region of the Philippines, an island best known as a base for thresher shark dives at nearby Monad Shoal. This particular site is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 27 metres and is rated a beginner dive, typically reached by a short banca boat ride from the local resorts. Divers have reported barracuda, cuttlefish, frogfish, garden eels, nudibranchs, scorpionfish, seahorses, stingrays, and trevally along the reef here.
