This wreck lies off the coast of Zambales province on the western side of Luzon in the Philippines, facing the South China Sea. It takes its name from the Showa/Nakajima L2D, a Japanese-built transport aircraft derived from the Douglas DC-3, reflecting wartime aviation activity in the region. The site sits at a maximum depth of around 43 metres and is rated a technical dive.
