Limestone Rock lies off the County Down coast of Northern Ireland, within the stretch of the Irish Sea bordering the Ards Peninsula area. Dive sites along this coastline are typically reached by boat from harbours such as Portaferry or Ardglass. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres over a rocky bottom, and divers have reported lobster among the rock crevices.
