About this site
Lion de Mer is a pinnacle dive site off the Var coastline in southeastern France, in the waters near Saint-Tropez along the Cote d'Azur. This stretch of the Mediterranean is known for its rocky points and calanque-like inlets, and local dive operators run trips out to sites like this from nearby ports. The pinnacle reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an advanced dive.
