About this site
Los Champiñones lies off the coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic waters off Spain's volcanic archipelago. The site takes its name from the mushroom-shaped volcanic rock formations found along this stretch of coastline, with a bottom of rock reaching down to around 30 metres. It is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported barracuda, grouper, triggerfish, and tuna around the formations.
