About this site
Los Peces lies at Playa Larga, at the head of the Bay of Pigs on Cuba's southern coast in the Ciénaga de Zapata region of Matanzas province. The site is a cave dive over the area's limestone shelf, with a maximum depth of around 18 metres, and is rated an intermediate dive. The bay's waters give onto the Caribbean Sea, with access from the small settlements along the coast road near Playa Larga.
