About this site
Lost Ledge sits off Florida's southeast coast, in the offshore waters near the Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach area of the state's Atlantic coastline. This stretch of the coast is known for its limestone ledges and reef lines running roughly parallel to shore, typically reached by short boat trips from local marinas. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 28 metres over a reef bottom and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported grouper, lionfish, and moray eels along the ledge.
