About this site
This wreck dive off North Carolina sits in the Atlantic, resting at a depth of around 100 feet. The structure is encrusted with colorful corals and sponges, attracting schools of baitfish, barracuda, and the occasional sand tiger shark. Strong currents can sweep through, making it ideal for drift diving. Visibility varies but often reaches 50 feet. The wreck's intact sections offer swim-throughs and penetration opportunities for advanced divers. Nearby, the sandy bottom hosts stingrays and flounder. Best dived in summer and fall when conditions are calmer.
