Malepasso lies along the Salento coastline near Lecce, in Italy's Apulia region, where the Adriatic and Ionian meet at the heel of the peninsula. This stretch of coast is known for its limestone shoreline and clear waters typical of the southern Adriatic side of Salento. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an intermediate dive.
