About this site
Mandela Wall lies off Njao Island on the northern side of Pemba Island, Tanzania, within the channel waters separating Pemba from the East African coast. It is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 25 metres and rated advanced. Divers have reported barracuda, snapper, and wrasse along the wall. Njao Island sits near Pemba's western reef systems, an area reached by boat from operators based on Pemba itself.
