Mange Reef sits off Mafia Island, part of the Mafia Archipelago along the Pwani coast of Tanzania in the Indian Ocean. The island lies within the Mafia Island Marine Park, and reef sites in this stretch of channel are typically reached by boat from the town of Kilindoni or nearby lodges on the island's western shore. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 24 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported clownfish, moray eels, and parrotfish here, along with occasional hammerhead shark sightings.
