Manta Run lies off Sangalaki Island in the Derawan Archipelago, on the northeast coast of Kalimantan, Indonesia, in a stretch of the Sulawesi Sea known for manta ray activity. The site follows drift paths where mantas pass through to feed and visit cleaning areas, with a maximum depth of around 15 metres, making it a relatively shallow dive by regional standards.
