About this site
Sherwood Forest lies in the Derawan Islands off the northeast coast of Kalimantan, in the Sangalaki area of the Celebes Sea known for its rich reef systems. The Derawan archipelago sits within the Coral Triangle and is reached by boat from the town of Berau or from Derawan Island itself. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 24 metres and is rated an intermediate dive.
