About this site
A tiny island in the Derawan group off Borneo, one of Indonesia's best places to dive with manta rays. Reef mantas gather here year-round to feed in the plankton-rich shallows and visit cleaning stations, often several at a time gliding over the sandy bottom. The island is also a major green-turtle nesting site. Gentle, shallow manta diving suited to a broad range of divers, in a genuinely remote corner of Borneo.
