About this site
Marina del Este is a small marina and dive area on the coast of Granada province, along Spain's Costa Tropical in Andalusia, near the town of La Herradura. The site sits along a rocky wall where the coastline rises steeply from the sea, typical of this part of southern Spain's granite and schist shore. It is a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 14 metres, and divers have reported damselfish, nudibranchs, octopus, seahorses, and wrasse along the rock.
