About this site
Miyara (宮良) is a reef site off Miyara on Ishigaki Island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, dived at depths of 8 to 25 m during the north-wind season from October to April. The coral shelf drops away onto white sand, and whitetip reef sharks, sea turtles, Napoleon wrasse and several anemonefish species are seen.
