About this site
Monkey Bay sits on Tioman Island off the east coast of Pahang, Malaysia, in the South China Sea. It is one of several dive and snorkel spots ringing the island, typically reached by boat from the main jetty towns such as Salang or Air Batang. The site is a shallow reef reaching a maximum depth of around 10 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it a relaxed spot suited to newer divers and snorkelers alike.
