About this site
Salang Jetty sits off Salang village on the northern coast of Tioman Island, in the South China Sea off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, within Pahang state. The jetty serves as a shore entry point for divers heading to nearby sites around this part of the island. Divers here have reported hawksbill turtles, bluespotted fantail rays, Clark's anemonefish, moon wrasse, scissortail sergeants, bluestreak cleaner wrasse, and smaller finds like the blue dragon nudibranch and varicose wart slug along the jetty structure.
