Salang Reef

Salang Reef sits off Salang village at the northern end of Tioman Island, on Malaysia's east coast in Pahang state, facing the South China Sea. The village is one of the smaller settlements on the island, and dive operations there typically run boats out to the surrounding fringing reef. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres over a reef bottom and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported batfish, clownfish, nudibranchs, parrotfish, scorpionfish, and stingrays here.
