About this site

Montaña Amarilla sits on the southern coast of Tenerife, near the village of Los Abrigos in the Canary Islands. The site takes its name from the yellow volcanic hill that overlooks the shoreline where divers enter the water. It is a beginner dive over a rocky bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 20 metres, with light current and great visibility. Barracuda, moray eels, and octopus are regularly seen here, and divers have also reported garden eels, parrotfish, pufferfish, and sea turtles on the site.
