About this site
Moomin Dani (ムーミン谷) is a boat site at Tanabe on the Kii Peninsula of Wakayama, with depths of 10 to 27 m. A broad channel holds a small arch, and chicken grunt and damselfish school around the rock, with frogfish, commensal shrimp on cup coral and jawfish among the smaller finds. The site is suitable from beginner level.
