About this site
Moon Valley is a reef dive site along the Red Sea coast near Aqaba, in southern Jordan close to the Gulf of Aqaba, served by dive operators based in Aqaba town a short drive or boat trip from the shore. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive over a reef bottom. Divers have reported barracuda, eagle rays, fusiliers, Napoleon wrasse, octopus, and unicornfish here, and there is a cave nearby that divers have noted as unexplored and unsafe to enter.
