About this site
Yellow Stone Reef lies along Jordan's short Red Sea coastline near Aqaba, where the coral fringe runs close to shore at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba. It is a reef dive to a maximum depth of around 20 metres, rated a beginner site, with the coral running close to the coastal strip typical of this stretch near the city. Divers have reported grouper, Napoleon wrasse, and nudibranchs on the reef.
