MDR Maehama (MDR前浜) is a shore-entry freshwater site on Lake Motosu in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, the closest site to Motosuko Dive Resort and reachable on foot. The bottom shelves gently through an intricate lava field; maximum depth 15 m, average around 5 m, suitable from beginner level. Carp, silver crucian carp, black bass and freshwater shrimp are typical.
