About this site
Nakanougan Cave (仲の神島洞窟) is a boat-dive cave site off Nakanougan Island near Iriomote in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 25 m and an average around 15 m. Light enters through a vertical shaft and the exit frames the blue of the open sea, and parts of the cave resemble ruins. No current; intermediate and above, with dive conditions that may apply.
