About this site
Nakanougan San no Ne (仲の神島３の根) is the most open-ocean boat-dive pinnacle around Iriomote, off Nakanougan Island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 24 m and an average around 15 m. Dogtooth tuna, barracuda, rainbow runner and bluefin trevally all form large schools here. It is dived as a drift or from anchor, usually timed for slack water; current is present and it is for intermediate and above, with dive conditions that may apply.
