About this site
Nakanougan Higashi no Ne (仲の神島東の根) is a boat-dive pinnacle off Nakanougan Island near Iriomote in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 20 m and an average around 15 m. The pinnacle rises sheer from a 50 m seabed to a top at 14 m, and dogtooth tuna attack through schools of fusiliers and yellowtail fusiliers. Current is present; intermediate and above, with dive conditions that may apply.
