Nei's Cove

Havelock Island sits in the Andaman archipelago, in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands union territory of India, and is served by boat traffic from Port Blair. Nei's Cove refers to a sheltered stretch along the island's coastline, in the waters of the Andaman Sea, with a reef bottom reaching a maximum depth of around 18 metres and rated a beginner dive. Parrotfish are a regular sight on the reef, and divers have also reported angelfish, clownfish, damselfish, grouper, snapper, ornate ghost pipefish, and even dugong in the area. Saltwater crocodiles have been noted as a hazard here by at least one source, worth keeping in mind despite the site's otherwise easy, sheltered nature.
