About this site
North Point Rocks lies off the northern tip of Mahe, the main island of the Seychelles, in the western Indian Ocean, near the Glacis area on the north coast. The site is characterized by granite boulder formations typical of the Seychelles' inner islands, reached by boat from the north coast of Mahe. Divers here have reported bluestriped snapper, checkerboard wrasse, dusky surgeonfish, Dussumier's rockskipper, Indian redfin butterflyfish, powder blue tang, spotfin squirrelfish, and threadfin butterflyfish among the granite formations.
