North Yalku refers to the northern part of the Yalku Lagoon, a small inlet just north of Akumal on the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The lagoon is a narrow, sheltered channel connecting to the sea where fresh and salt water meet, and it is more commonly accessed for snorkeling than for scuba diving.
