Norwegian Bay sits on the eastern shore of the North West Cape peninsula in Western Australia, within the Ningaloo coast region facing the Exmouth Gulf. The area is remote, with the reef systems of Ningaloo Marine Park lying along the outer, ocean-facing side of the cape.
