Panagsama Reef

Panagsama Reef sits directly off Panagsama Beach in Moalboal, on the southwest coast of Cebu in the Philippines. It is the shore reef most associated with Moalboal's dense sardine run, a large moving school of sardines that gathers close to shore and has made this stretch of coastline one of the more heavily dived areas in the Visayas. The reef slopes from shallow coral near the beach down a wall, with much of the diving done in the 5 to 25 metre range, and it is easily accessible for shore diving with minimal current, making it approachable for divers of most experience levels. Turtles and reef fish are commonly reported along the wall in addition to the sardines.
