About this site
Papu Sungan lies along the Lembeh Strait, the stretch of water between the northeastern tip of Sulawesi and Lembeh Island, an area on Indonesia's north coast near the city of Bitung. Dive sites along the strait are generally reached by small boat from resorts and dive centers on either shore. Divers here have reported nudibranchs on the site, in keeping with the muck diving reputation of the strait generally.
